Summertime, summertime, sum, sum …
We have had floods, we’ve had droughts, we’ve had 3 sunny days in a row! HURRAY! We enjoyed some RED riding hood stories with Rosie and friends and enjoyed bubbles and boomwhackers afterwards for stay n play. Next Thursday, 7/28 at 10 am will be our last Summer Story Time. We’ll look forward to seeing you in September.
We continue to appreciate mask wearing for children ages 2-12 and anyone unvaccinated or uncomfortable being in the building without one. I know many of us can’t imagine doing groceries without it anymore.
26 children have signed up for summer reading Tails & Tales this year and cleared out our dinosaur and animal books! They have checked out 269 Books in the month of July! Good thing we have more on the way thanks to that ARPA grant. Adults, not to be outdone have checked out 432 books so far this month and will be entered for a summer basket raffle. There are still free books available if you have kids around this summer. Pop in and see what you are missing.
Over 100 people have attended 3 summer concerts so far despite the rain forest-like weather. We look forward to Sunny Skies for Off the Cuff next Tuesday evening at 7 pm.
We are excited to hear that a dear FRIEND of Frost Free is moving soon and I wanted to take a moment to THANK her for all she has meant to Frost Free and the Marlborough Community over the years, if you see Ann Grover, give her a hug for us! Consider joining the Friends in her honor! Ann hosted our Friends tea, helped with the booksale and walks laps around the library to keep us all on our toes. Happiest trails, Ann, you will be missed.
