Summer Programming @FrostFreeLibrary

Thanks to Children’s Literacy Foundation, we are a Summer Readers Grant recipient this year. This means FREE books to share with Marlborough children, A week of Simon Brooks storytelling on line celebrating the Imagine YOUR story theme of folktales/fairytales & mythology AND Weekly author/storyteller recordings Starting July 8th, Wednesdays at 1 pm. July 8 Ashley Wolfe, July 15th Eric Pinder, July 22 Jan Reynolds, July 29 Mary Klassen-Landis, August 5, Marlborough School favorite MARTY KELLEY, August 12, Keene’s own Sandra Neil Wallace.

Imagine YOUR Story is 2020’s summer programming theme. June 30-August 15th, Children birth – 17 and Adults are welcome to register at http://frostfree.readsquared.com/

You’ll find reading lists, games, badges and more (once I finish figuring out the new system).

The state-wide READsquared subscription for New Hampshire public libraries is funded by the FY20 IMLS CARES Act grant, through the New Hampshire State Library.

Look for outdoor activities in our lovely green space. Drawing Tree, Imagination Tree, Sidewalk Chalk, Gnomes, Frisbee & Flamingo Ring Toss coming soon.

Nancy Salwen, Music Together, (ages birth to seven) will be offering Outdoor/Shine Only events on Saturday, August 15th at 10:30 am. These events are limited to 12 families each for optimum engagement. Please RSVP to the library 876 4479 the week before the event. You must register for each event and include # of adults & children.

Please help us keep everyone well by wearing masks, using sanitizer, and observing social distancing. Stage area will be marked for the protection of performers and the audience. Let’s stay healthy Marlborough and keep that curve flattened out.
