Trustees will be looking at a new Interlibrary loan policy when they reconvene in September so that we can effectively continue to manage the increase in interlibrary loan activity in New Hampshire.
We currently receive one delivery a week from the State Library Van on Thursdays and circulation desk staff usually have a mighty pile of books to process. We appreciate you picking up your ILL requests at your earliest convenience and PLEASE check your calendar before placing a request. Each requests requires time not only from Frost Free Library staff but from the lending library and the staff at NH State Library. When you don’t pick up your request or change your mind and buy it instead of waiting, we all lose valuable staff time. THANK YOU
With gratitude to our colleagues at NH State Library for all the ways they keep the reads flowing.
