CONNECTIONS vs Collections
Did you know that today’s libraries are so much more than books? Though Frost Free has indeed curated an ever changing, growing and responsive collection for its community of information seekers – in multiple formats including Large Print, Audio CD, E-book, digital audio and digital subscriptions – America’s News – Ebsco’s suite of databases and a growing Library of Things. (check the catalog link in the blue banner above), we also prioritize connections.
- Connecting you to the local Marlborough community through book group, Friends tea, concerts, Seed Library, Local Presenters, Artists and Crafters.
- Connecting you beyond the neighborhood with free wifi connection, Authors and stories from around the globe and across cultures, programming from travelers near and far.
- Connecting with other cultures and our own history – Professor Goodby will be presenting “Digging into Native History in NH” via Zoom courtesy of New Hampshire Humanities this Saturday, 11/13 at 11 am, call 603 876 4479 or email [email protected] for the link.
- Storytime programming for young families – a chance to connect with other families with young children and the latest in Early Literacy support and practices.
- Trustee Board and Friends – opportunities to engage in your community, get to know others, navigate working with others towards common goals and carrying on Frost Free traditions in Marlborough.
